Ron: Alright, so you may be asking me, what one piece of advice would you give blended families? I’d say this. Look we all know family life is stressful. Blended family living is no different. So you have to seek out solid answers to the questions you are asking about your family.

My advice is simple. Seek out every help you can find: Mentors, Counselors, Websites, Resources, and a local stepfamily ministry. But here is the catch on that one. Very few churches actually have a stepfamily ministry. But more and more marriage ministries around the country are catching the vision for how they can be a support to stepfamilies. 

So in the meantime, you have to seek out the answers and support you need. And who knows, maybe in the process you’ll be able to help somebody else. I’m Ron Deal.
