Much like Esther, we can’t always see the next right step in front of us. We delicately and meticulously trace the outline of our next footprints, fearful of how to step forward. Our lips quiver at the thought of stepping into the unknown, and we hesitantly ask, “Does anyone see me?” 

Without His name being mentioned once in Esther’s story, God’s providence is evident. From orphaned to adopted, Esther seizes each opportunity to look up, walk forward, and trust God for the good things He has for her … even in the unknown.

Instead of looking down on our hard times, struggles, and even failures, how might we look for the love, detail, and provision of God in our lives? By glancing up to see your loving Father, you may see He has been here all along.
