Ron: No, I don’t mean more or less like the Bible vaguely describes how we should live. I mean it tells us to do more of some things and less of others. Colossians 3, for example, has a list of things we should do more of—like being kind and forgiving toward one another. And things we should do less of—like lying or having impure thoughts.
And really, that’s where it all starts: with our thoughts. Set your mind on things above, it says, not on earthly things. Try that, right now. Spend the next two minutes considering how you might spend the rest of your day loving God, and loving others—more or less. For FamilyLife Blended, I’m Ron Deal.
