Ron: When I say “more or less” I mean that the Bible in Colossians 3 tells us we should do more of some things and less of others. We should put on more compassion for others, more kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. And we should put off immorality, lust, and greed.
You knot, that first list calls us to be other focused and moves us outside of ourselves, considering the needs of others. While the second list is self-focused, absorbed in what I can get or what I want from others. Let me encourage you. Make some changes to your focus in life, more or less: more on others and less on you. For FamilyLife Blended, I’m Ron Deal.
